Choose how much to gift — $25, $50, $100, $250, or any custom amount up to $10,000. Add a personal message and pick the occasion.
Minimum gift is $10. Maximum is $10,000. Service fee applies.

We send a beautiful gift email on your behalf.
Pay with any major credit or debit card. Your payment is processed by Stripe — the same payment processor used by Amazon and Google.

For the person receiving
Your recipient receives a personalized gift email showing the stock, the amount, your message, and a claim button. It looks like something worth receiving.
Recipients create a simple StockAShare account with their email. This is required by law — anyone holding securities must verify their identity.
A quick KYC process — name, address, date of birth, and the last 4 digits of their SSN. Takes under 2 minutes. Required by federal law for all brokerage accounts.
Once verified, their gifted shares are deposited into their StockAShare account. They can hold, watch them grow, or transfer to another brokerage anytime.
Common questions
Does the recipient need a brokerage account?
No — they create a StockAShare account to claim their gift. No prior brokerage account needed.
What happens if the recipient never claims the gift?
Unclaimed gifts are held for 12 months. After that, a full refund is issued to the original gifter.
Can I gift fractional shares?
Yes — your gift amount buys fractional shares if needed. A $50 Apple gift buys roughly 0.26 shares at current prices.
What stocks can I gift?
Any publicly traded US stock. Over 8,000 companies available including all S&P 500 companies.
Is this a real stock or a gift card?
Real stock. Once claimed and verified, the recipient holds actual shares in their name.
Can I cancel or refund a gift?
Yes — if the gift is unclaimed, you can request a full refund minus the service fee within 30 days.
Is my payment secure?
Yes — payments are processed by Stripe. We never store your card details.
